Plot

"The Heirs" depicts the friendships and love lives of high school students from wealthy families.

2. Singer/actor Jung Yong-Hwa from Kpop group "CN BLUE" was originally cast as one of the main supporting characters, but dropped out of the project. According to his management company FNC Entertainment, differences between between production company Hwa & Dam Pictures and FNC Entertainment over Jung Yong-Hwa's character could not be mutually satisfied.

CNBLUE members reveal their graduation pictures

OMG! They're REALLY and SUPER DUPER CUTEEE!

Ever wondered if the dashing boys of CNBLUE always enjoyed good looks? Well a recent broadcast ofMBC‘s “Section TV” revealed the members’ individual graduation photos, which proved that the boys were ladykillers even back in the day.

Capturing their unique personalities, the pictures varied from one other. One member looked as though he just woke up and took the picture, whereas another member smiled brightly for the camera. ForJung Yong Hwa’s picture, everyone agreed that he looks like a ‘son from a wealthy family’.

This broadcast also revealed pictures from their debut days. There wasn’t a big difference between now and back then, however, everyone noticed that the members all stared straight into the lens, as if they were going to drill a hole through the camera.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa addressed the rumors going around him and actress Park Shin Hye!

On June 23rd, MBC “Heartstrings” held a press conference. At the press conference, Jung Yonghwa stated, “Like my drama character Lee Shin, I never fell in love with a teacher nor professor.”

He continued and stated, “However I did have a one-sided love with a person who was about the same age as me so I know how hard it is to have a one-sided love. In ‘You’re Beautiful’, I was the character of Kang Shin Woo who had a one-sided love. Whenever the scripts came out, I always became sad because Kang Shin Woo never revealed his heart and true feelings. However, my new character is bold and confident. That’s why I really like him.””

Jung Yonghwa denied the rumors about him and fellow cast mate Park Shin Hye being in a relationship stating, “Shin Hye is like one of our members. I highly doubt I will ever date her.”

[News|Photos] CNBLUE Successfully Concluded BLUE STORM Hong Kong

CNBLUE kicked off their “Blue Storm” Asia Tour with their concert in Hong Kong. CNBLUEheld two concerts on January 7th and 8th at Hong Kong’s Asiaworld Arena. Nearly 8,000 fans who wanted to watch CNBLUE performing live filled up the arena.

CNBLUE began the concert with “Intuition.” Afterwards they sang  “Ready N Go,” “Love Girl,” and “Love Revolution.” During the ballad section of the concert, an orchestra appeared and CNBLUE performed “ Y, Why,” “Love Rides the Rain,” and “Because I Miss You.” They concluded the concert with the songs “I’m a Loner,” “LOVE,” and “Love Light.”

CNBLUE’s members stated, “We officially began our first Asia Tour concert in Hong Kong. We were so touched by the number of fans that filled up the arena. We were very nervous when we heard that tickets were sold out as soon as the ticketing opened. I think we were able to have a comfortable concert because the audience enjoyed the show together with us. We hope that we will be able to return soon to do another concert.”

CNBLUE will release their second Japanese single “Where You Are” in February.

HISTORY OF CNBLUE

CNBLUE (Korean: 씨엔블루), is a South Korean band “CN is an abbreviation of ‘Code Name’ while BLUE is an abbreviation of the members’ individual images,” said by one of the members. ‘Burning’ represents Lee Jong Hyun, ‘Lovely’ represents Kang Minhyuk, ‘Untouchable’ represents Lee Jung Shin, and ‘Emotional’ represents Jung Yong Hwa. Debuted on August 19, 2009 in Japan with the band’s first mini album, Now or Never. They were coined as the “2nd FT Island”. The group released four teasers for their 1st album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Yonghwa on the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13 January respectively. On the January 14, CNBLUE debuted their first mini-album with lead single “I’m a Loner” (Korean: 외톨이야).
2009: DEBUT, NOW OR NEVER, AND VOICE
In mid-June 2009, CNBLUE began to perform on the streets and in live clubs in Japan. As an indie band, they formally debuted on August 19, 2009 with Now or Never. The mini album was recorded completely in English, and failed to chart on the Japanese national music chart. Later, in November, the second extended play was released entitled Voice. Voice peaked at position 227, and stayed on the Oricon for two weeks, and was recorded mostly in English but also in Japanese. Also that year former Bassist Kwon Kwang Jin left CNBLUE in late September after the release of CNBLUE’s first mini album. Kwang Jin was replaced by Lee Jungshin later that year.
2010: KOREAN DEBUT, THANK U, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES


In January, FNC Music unveiled new teaser pictures for CNBLUE’s debut in South Korea. Bluetory was released on January 14, 2010. It stayed at the top of the Gaon Chart for two weeks. “I’m a Loner” (Korean: 외톨이야) was promoted as the title track. The song peaked at number two, solidifying their break into the industry. The group had their first televised live stage on KBS Music Bank on January 15. Later, on January 29, the group won their first music show chart win on Music Bank.


The group debuted their new reality show on Korean music channel Mnet, titled “CN Bluetory,” on February 10. In March, the band started preparations for their first full length album ThankU. It was released on March 20, 2010, with only one new track. The album peaked at number 90 on the Oricon charts, their highest thus far. Later, in April, their official fanclub name was announced as BOICE, a combination of “blue” and “voice.”


CNBLUE headed back to Korea in May and released their next promotional single, “Love Light” (Korean: 사랑 빛), on May 10, 2010. The song peaked at number 10 on the Korean national chart and foreshadowed their upcoming release. On May 19, the second extended play was released, named Bluelove. It was promoted with the track “Love,” which charted at number 2, matching the success the band found earlier with “I’m a Loner.” Bluelove peaked at number 3, but stayed on the chart for many weeks. CNBLUE held their comeback stage on M!Countdown the following day.


After success in Korea, the band headed back to Japan. They released their first single “The Way” on June 23. For the first time, they charted within the Oricon top 40 at number 26. The release was followed by “I Don’t Know Why” on September 16 the same year. The song reached number eight on the Oricon daily chart, marking the first time the band made it inside the top 10. On the weekly chart, they peaked at number 15. On the Japanese indie top chart, the band reached number one. The band embarked on a small tour across Japan in order to promote the single.


CNBLUE members Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jong Hyun will star in the Korean movie “Acoustic.” They released a song from the OST on October 7 entitled “High Fly” that peaked at number 98 on the Gaon Chart.
2011: RE-MAINTENANCE AND FIRST STEP


On January 9, they released their 3rd Japanese single, Re-maintenance. They started off their 2011 Japanese promotions with a Zepp Tour in 4 cities: Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Tokyo from January 9–16.


FNC Music, their entertainment agency in South Korea, released teasers for a CNBLUE comeback for February in 2011. However, it was later changed to a March 21 release date. The teaser was noted for having a “more of the same departure from their pop rock sound into a heavier concept.”

JS Pictures released behind-the-scene stills of CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa at the set of youth melodrama “Heartstrings.” In the photos, the singer-actor is reading through his lines and smiling mischievously as he takes a break from filming. Sources explained that Jung Yong Hwa put in tremendous time and effort to perfect his character. He’s also in charge of brightening the atmosphere on set.


A representative of the crew stated, “Despite his tight schedule and the gloomy weather, he always has a smile on his face and cheers up other cast and crew members. He’s working hard to develop his craft. Please continue to root for Jung Yong Hwa.”


Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye returned to filming on Saturday after taking several days off to recover from a car accident. She received physical therapy, as well as other treatments, before discharging from the hospital. Episode 8 will air this Wednesday, July 27th, on MBC at 9:55PM KST.

CNBLUE‘s overseas fame shone brilliantly when they drew hundreds of fans at an airport in Hong Kong.


On January 7th, CNBLUE landed in Hong Kong for their ’CNBLUE 2012 Asia Tour Concert Bluestorm in Hong Kong‘.


Over 200 fans gathered around the airport to get a glimpse of CNBLUE, who were said to be smiling at their large reception. The band’s leader, Jung Yonghwa, is seen in casual airport outfit wearing a maroon colored sweater paired with sunglasses. The other members also opted for comfortable outfits with sunglasses to protect their eyes from the paparazzi’s camera flashes.


Thanks to Yonghwa’s dramas like ‘Heartstrings‘ and appearances in entertainment programs like ‘Running Man – Hong Kong Edition‘, CNBLUE’s popularity skyrocketed in Hong Kong.

On various internet communities, many fans questioned whether Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye were in a relationship. Jung Yong Hwa answered, “I think that topic came up because we’re really close friends. I feel comfortable with her, just like I would be with any of my guy friends. I don’t have a lot of celebrity friends, and Park Shin Hye is one of them.”


Park Shin Hye replied, “I like Jung Yong Hwa as a friend, but no so much as a boyfriend. It’s because he’s type A [blood type],” garnering smiles and laughs from reporters. She added, “People also thought I was dating Jang Geun Suk, but that rumor started because we were also close friends.”


Yesterday was also Jung Yong Hwa’s birthday, but he spent the entire day filming. He confessed he was slightly upset that no one remembered his birthday. However, Park Shin Hye, fellow bandmate Kang Min Hyuk, and others surprised him with a cake and a song. He said, “I had no idea they planned this because Park Shin Hye pretended to be mad and wouldn’t talk to be the entire day.”


Singer-actor Jung Yong Hwa plays Lee Shin, the cold-hearted, snobby guitar prodigy. Park Shin Hye stars as the Lee Kyu Won, an energetic and full of life music student studying the gayageum, a traditional twelve-stringed Korean instrument. The two will share a bickering, yet cute romance as a college campus couple who share a passion for music and love. “Heartstrings” also stars Song Chang Ui, So Yi Hyun, Woori, and Kang Min Hyuk of CNBlue. This highly anticipated youth melodrama will air its first episode next Wednesday, June 29th, on MBC at 9:55PM KST.

Jung Yong Hwa atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Yonghwa ini lahir di Yeoksam-dong, Seoul pada tanggal 22 Juni 1989. Dia merupakan anak kedua dan mempunyai seorang kakak laki-laki yang usianya terpaut empat tahun darinya. Seperti layaknya anak-anak kebanyakkan, cita-cita Yong semasa kecil adalah menjadi presiden dan dokter sebelum akhirnya berubah haluan menjadi seorang penyanyi seperti sekarang ini. Tahun 1991, Yong pindah ke Busan hingga SMA dan mulai menyusun lagu untuk pertama kalinya.

Setelah mengambil ujian masuk universitas, Yong memutuskan kembali ke Seoul dimana kemudian dia bergabung dengan FNC Music dan mulai berlatih teknologi bass di F&C Academy. Akhirnya pada tahun 2009, Yong impiannya menjadi pemusik pun terkabul. Dirinya saat ini bernaung dalam sebuah band bernama C.N.Blue. Lalu di bulan Januari 2010, dia pun resmi menjadi pimpinan band itu menggantikan posisi Lee Jong Hyun. C.N.Blue sendiri mempunyai arti dimana "C.N" kepanjangan dari 'code name' sedangkan "Blue" merupakan representasi dari masing-masing member dan Yong mewakili huruf 'E' yaitu emosional.

Yong mengawali debutnya di dunia akting dengan membintangi drama "You Are Beautiful" bersama Park Shin Hye, Jang Geun Suk, dan Lee Hong Ki awal tahun 2009. Drama ini bercerita tentang seorang biarawati bernama Go Mi Nyu yang terpaksa harus menyamar menjadi kakak laki-lakinya Go Mi Nam untuk bergabung dalam sebuah band terkenal A.N.Jell. Di sini peran Yong adalah sebagai Kang Shin Woo salah satu member band tersebut yang kemudian jatuh cinta (lebih tepatnya bertepuk sebelah tangan) pada Mi Nam. Ada kisah menarik dalam mendapatkan peran ini dimana Yong harus bersaing dengan Min Hyuk yang juga member C.N.Blue. Sayangnya sang sutradara menolak Min Hyuk dan lebih memilih Yong karena alasan wajah Min Hyuk yang terlalu cute untuk memerankan tokoh tersebut. Dari drama ini juga Yong mendapatkan penghargaan pertamanya dari SBS Drama Awrds sebagai artis pendatang terbaru.

Setelah mengakhiri perannya di drama "You Are Beautiful", Yong kemudian lebih banyak tampil di acara variety show yang salah satu paling terkenal adalah perannya sebagai 'suami' Seohyun SNSD di acara We Got Married pada bulan Februari 2010. Di sini dia dan pasangannya harus berpura-pura menjadi sepasang suami-istri. Yong yang kala itu belum mengenai Seohyun pun malu-malu pada awalnya. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, mereka bisa saling terbuka. Image Yong yang sabar dan perhatian menghadapi sang 'istri' yang bisa dibilang lumayan membenci pria (soalnya dulu Hyun lebih milih makanan ketimbang cowok ganteng kayak Song Seung Hun) mulai menarik perhatian penonton. Yup, begitu pun Seohyun yang perlahan tapi pasti bisa dekat bahkan dia mulai bisa memilih makhluk hidup (cowok) dibanding makanan kesukaannya yaitu goguma alias ubi manis dan karena itulah mereka mendapatkan julukkan 'sweet potato couple' atw 'goguma couple'. Namun semua harus berakhir pada bulan Maret 2011 kemarin. Jadwal mereka berdua yang tambah padat menjadi salah satu alasan acara ini berakhir dan mereka pun 'bercerai'.

Lalu di Juni 2011, Yong kembali berakting untuk sebuah drama yang temanya gak jauh-jauh dari musik yaitu "Heartstrings" atw "You've Fallen For Me" dan kembali bertemu dengan Park Shin Hye setelah sebelumnya mereka beradu akting di "You Are Beautiful". Bedanya di drama ini mereka diceritakan nantinya menjadi sepasang kekasih yang pada awalnya telibat 'hate-love situation'. Banyak yang bilang kalau drama ini merupakan karma buat peran Go Mi Nam nya Shin Hye karena kali ini dirinyalah yang harus bertepuk sebelah tangan pada Yong. Peran Yong sendiri adalah sebagai Lee Shin, seorang mahasiswa jurusan musik yang punya band beraliran cadas bernama 'The Stupid', sedangkan Shin Hye kebalikan dari dirinya yaitu sebagai Kyu Won, mahasiswi jurusan musik juga tapi ke arah musik tradisional dan sangat mahir memainkan gayageum (alat musik tradisional Korea seperti kecapi) dan punya grup bernama 'The Invicible Flowers. Dramanya sekarang masih berlangsung di Korea dan silahkan baca sinopsisnya di Pelangi Drama ini.

Terlepas dari bernyanyi dan berakting, Yong juga menjajal kemampuan sebagai seorang MC. Dia sudah lumayan banyak menjadi pembawa acara yang khususnya di acara musik. Meski dirinya mengaku sering berbuat kesalahan saat melakukannya, namun dia tetap berusaha memberikan performa terbaiknya. Selain itu, Yong juga sempat menjadi model iklan. Baik itu sebagai model majalah atau pun merek tertentu, maka jangan heran kalau dia suka nampang dimana-mana, nyehehehehe.

Bagaimana pun besarnya kesuksesan seseorang pasti diimbangi dengan masalah yang pernah menghinggapinya seperti pengorbanan batinnya saat melihat sang ibu secara tidak langsung sebenarnya kurang mendukung cita-citanya sebagai seorang musisi. Dia ingat kalau ibunya hanya bilang padanya untuk mencoba hal yang disukainya dan lihat bagaimana selanjutnya. Yong sangat terharu ketika ibunya datang pada saat tampil perdananya. Meski lampu sorot menyilaukan matanya, tapi Yong yang sedang manggung tetap berusaha mencari keberadaan ibunya di tengah kerumunan para penonton. Selain itu juga belum lama ini Yong didiagnosis mengidap 'vocal fold nodule' dan 'acute laryngitis' yang menyebabkan dirinya harus dioperasi karena hal ini tentu sangat mempengaruhinya dalam bernyanyi. Tapi syukurlah semua itu bisa dilewati Yong dengan baik hingga akhirnya dia pun bisa seperti sekarang.

so, Jung Yong Hwa had some interview for the newest drama, "Heartstrings" or we're also called it "You've Fallen For Me" that he acted with Park Shin Hye.

The reporter asked some questions to him, of course. 

The questions are about Yong Hwa's feelings to be acted to this awesome drama.

And, the reporter asked " How is Park Shin Hye on Jung Yon Hwa's point of view? "

" Shin Hye is an actress who makes me feel comfortable in acting together. I feel so good filming together. We discuss a lot about our characters. She advice me a lot as a senior actress, and is helping me a lot."
